I am filled with immense excitement and a heart full of gratitude as I share the next phase of my journey with you. I founded For the Love of Weddings in 2012 as an Event Styling + On-the-Day Wedding Coordination business. Through the years, fueled by an unwavering dedication to excellence, I sought to transform dreams into reality. With every wedding, my goal has been to curate beautiful celebrations where every detail is flawlessly executed.
A Path Fueled by Passion:
In 2015, driven by a relentless pursuit of perfection, I embarked on a journey to deepen my knowledge and expand my horizons. It was then that I obtained a diploma in Wedding + Event Planning with the Wedding Academy Global. This additional expertise not only broadened my understanding but also enabled me to take on larger weddings and events, showcasing my skill for transforming visions into tangible experiences.

Recognition of Success:
My dedication and passion for my work did not go unnoticed. In 2019, I achieved a significant milestone in my career by winning the prestigious National Wedding Planner of the Year award. This incredible recognition was both incredibly humbling and inspiring, and I feel highlighted my commitment to delivering unforgettable wedding experiences.
It's Always Been The Flowers:
Throughout my journey, I have always harboured a deep passion for seasonal blooms and floral design, often referring to my service as 'Floral-led Wedding Planning'. Furthermore, over the years I have had the incredible opportunity to attend floral workshops run by my incredibly talented friend, India of Vervain. India's Summer Vase and Hand-tied Bouquet workshops enriched my skills and expanded my creativity, not to mention hours spent whiling away on her flower farm, allowing me to explore the world of floral artistry in greater depth.
In addition, I have been beyond fortunate to collaborate with some of the UK's best floral designers on exquisite weddings, styled shoots and editorials. Working closely with inspiring artists like my darling friend Donna of Pheasant Botanica, Lucy The Flower Hunter, Emma of Emma Soulsby Flowers, Hannah from Bride + Bloom, and Christiane of the Honeysuckle Flower Co., I have gained invaluable insights and learned from their expertise. These collaborations have been transformative, shaping my own floral aesthetic and elevating my ability to create stunning floral designs.

Bringing English Whimsy to Sydney, Australia:
Wind forward to January 2020; my husband Dan, our two young daughters Winnie and Betsy, and I, made a bold decision to embark on a new chapter in Sydney, Australia. Little did we know that the world was about to face the unprecedented challenges of the Covid pandemic, which would greatly impact my work and force me to reassess my path. Amidst the uncertainty, I found myself at a crossroads. It was during this time of reflection that I recognised an opportunity for reinvention. With a desire to bring my distinctive aesthetics to a new audience, I wholeheartedly embraced the realm of Floral Design. It was a decision fueled by passion and a longing to explore a creative avenue that had always captivated me.
I seized the moment and committed myself to retraining as a floral designer. Enrolling in Pearson's School of Floristry, I embarked on a journey of growth and transformation. With determination and resilience, I immersed myself in learning and honing my skills, eager to develop my own unique style that beautifully blends the whimsy of English florals with a contemporary elegance.

Through the ups and downs, I have remained steadfast in my commitment to deliver exceptional experiences. My journey as a floral designer has been enriched by the support and encouragement of my family, friends, and the incredible floral community that surrounds me.
